The EIS software adoption or integration grant is the smallest and quickest EIS digitalisation grant. It fits when you already have software but the programs do not talk to each other: the e-shop does not pass orders to accounting, invoices are made by hand and data is entered several times.
The company applies for and receives the grant. IT Solutions is the developer and service provider: we prepare a quote that meets EIS requirements and deliver the work.
The grant at a glance
- Amount: €2,000–5,000.
- Applicant revenue: average sales of at least €50,000 over the last two years.
- Round: opened on 4 March 2026 with a €1 million budget and stays open until the budget runs out.
- Status: check with EIS before applying whether budget is left.
Conditions
- An employee, board member or shareholder completes the free Digital State Academy e-course on business digitalisation.
- The company uses e-invoices or adopts e-invoicing software by the end of the project.
- A digital adviser is involved in the project.
- The result is documented in writing so that it can be reproduced.
Which projects fit
Short jobs with a clear result: adopting and configuring a new program, or connecting two existing systems. For example a WooCommerce store and an accounting program, an e-shop and payment and parcel locker integrations, a CRM and e-invoicing, or a warehouse program and orders.
What we can build for you with this grant
- A WooCommerce online store with an accounting integration.
- Montonio, Omniva and Smartpost in your store.
- Accounting and e-shop integration and e-invoicing setup.
- API integrations between your programs and improvements to your existing website for the integration.
Example project
A small online store receives 300 orders a month and copies each one into accounting by hand. Project: a WooCommerce and accounting integration that creates the sales invoice and e-invoice automatically, plus setup and documentation. The work fits within the grant and pays for itself within months because manual entry disappears.
How a grant-funded project works with us
- We map your needs and check that the project fits the grant conditions.
- We prepare the quote to EIS requirements: scope, schedule, price, our competencies, references and team CVs.
- You submit the application in the e-toetus portal. We sign the contract only after the application is submitted.
- We build the solution and document the result the way the final report requires.
- We maintain and develop it after the project ends.
Key rules before you apply
- Do not sign a contract with the developer before you submit the application: costs started earlier are not reimbursed.
- From €20,000 (excl. VAT) you need two comparable quotes; from €100,000 a procurement through the public procurement register.
- De minimis aid is capped at €300,000 over three years.
- The grant is usually paid after the final report is approved, so plan your own contribution and cash flow in advance.
Frequently asked questions
How large is the grant?
At least €2,000 and at most €5,000 per project.
Do I have to use e-invoicing?
Yes. If you do not use e-invoices yet, you must adopt software that supports them by the end of the project.
What does the digital adviser do?
The digital adviser helps assess the need and the result. We do the technical work and document it for the final report.
Can I use this grant for a new online store?
The grant is for adopting and integrating software. A new store may fit as part of an integrated solution, but simply building a store is not covered.
