Health portal website
TerviseMeeter is an Estonian-language health portal for the whole family that helps readers understand and look after their health. It publishes advice from doctors and specialists, news, video interviews, podcasts, quizzes and health tests across topics such as mental health, heart, immunity, bones, weight, the nervous system and women’s health. We redesigned the portal’s existing website and reworked its content structure and article pages.
Challange
Clear structure for health articles and expert video content
TerviseMeeter regularly publishes content in several formats – articles, videos, podcasts and tests – across many health topics. Readers needed to find the subject they care about quickly, and articles had to be easy to read on both desktop and mobile. The portal also wanted to grow its newsletter audience, highlight article authors and make day-to-day content management easier for the editorial team.
Solution
Health portal redesigned on WordPress with Elementor
We redesigned the portal on WordPress using Elementor. The main menu organises content by format – video interviews, podcasts, quiz, health tests, news – and by topic, such as mental health, heart, immunity and women’s health. The homepage features the latest articles and topic sections. Article pages include author details and share buttons, and podcasts have dedicated pages. A Mailchimp-connected form collects newsletter subscribers, Yoast SEO helps articles rank, Google Tag Manager handles tracking, CookieYes manages cookie consent and Cloudflare adds speed and protection. The design is built with mobile reading in mind.
