OÜ Gavkon is an Estonian marine engineering company that has worked with shipyards in Finland, Germany, Sweden, France and Spain since 2007. It installs piping, sprinkler, fire-fighting and HVAC systems on vessels and carries out certified welding work. We redesigned the company’s existing English website, modernising the design and structure so international partners can quickly find its services and completed projects.
Challange
Presenting marine engineering services to international shipyards
Gavkon’s clients are foreign shipyards that choose subcontractors based on experience, competence and track record. The previous website did not give a clear and modern enough picture of the company’s services and team. The goal was an English-language site that presents services, references, partners and personnel professionally and lets prospective clients get in touch quickly.
Solution
WordPress and Elementor website for a marine engineering firm
The redesigned website is built on WordPress and Elementor with a Hello Elementor child theme. The homepage message “Mastering Marine Engineering Since 2007” leads into an overview of services: turnkey projects, installation of piping, sprinkler, fire-fighting and HVAC systems, repair of ship auxiliary machinery and certified welding work. Separate sections present completed works, partners and personnel, and visitors can request a callback via the contacts page or the “Order a call” button. Image sliders run on Swiper, CookieYes manages cookie consent and Google Analytics measures traffic.
