Multilingual freight forwarder website
East-West Shipping Agency OÜ (EWSA) is an Estonian freight forwarding company organising international cargo transport by road, air, rail and sea, as well as warehousing. The company monitors shipments along the entire route and assists with transit, export and import cargo. We redesigned EWSA’s existing website, refreshing the design, creating a separate page for each mode of transport and setting up English, Estonian and Russian versions.
Challange
Clearer presentation of international freight forwarding services
EWSA’s clients are cargo owners who need a reliable partner to organise international shipments. The old website did not give a clear overview of the services and did not serve clients looking for information in different languages well enough. The goal was a modern multilingual site that presents each mode of transport separately, highlights the company’s experience and makes getting in touch easy.
Solution
Trilingual WordPress website for a freight forwarder
We built the website on WordPress and Elementor. A rotating hero banner on the homepage introduces each core service in turn: international road haulage, air freight, rail freight from China and Europe, sea freight and warehousing. Each service has its own page, and the homepage includes a company introduction. WPML provides English, Estonian and Russian, with the language switcher always available in the header. The contact page features a Contact Form 7 enquiry form, Yoast SEO helps optimise the service pages, Google Analytics tracks visits and CookieYes manages cookie consent. The site is adapted for mobile devices.
