Tehnoplast
Project overview
Manufacturer website with catalogue
AS Tehnoplast is an Estonian-owned plastic packaging manufacturer in Tallinn with more than 30 years of experience. Its HDPE bottles, canisters, caps and UN-certified packaging are designed for the chemical and food industries. We updated Tehnoplast’s existing website with a new design, a filterable WooCommerce product catalogue, services and news sections, and Estonian and English versions.
Challange
Presenting a wide packaging range clearly to B2B buyers
Tehnoplast’s range includes many similar canisters, bottles and caps that differ by volume, neck diameter and intended use. Buyers need to find the right packaging for their needs easily. The previous website did not allow convenient filtering or quick comparison of technical data. The goal was a modern website that presents products and services clearly and highlights the manufacturer’s experience and certifications.
Solution
WooCommerce product catalogue for a packaging manufacturer
We built the website on WordPress and Elementor and configured WooCommerce as a product catalogue. Products can be filtered by category (canister, bottle, cap, container), volume, neck diameter and parameters such as food-grade, technical or UN packaging and stock availability. Each product has its own page. The services section covers customer support, rush orders, delivery solutions and UN packaging, while the news section carries company updates. WPML provides Estonian and English versions, Yoast SEO supports search visibility, Contact Form 7 handles enquiries and Mailchimp powers the newsletter signup. Google Tag Manager tracks visits.
